Short Food Supply Chains and Transitions to Sustainable and Resilient Food Systems

In recent years, China has seen a significant increase in the production of a large number of processed agricultural products, especially slaughter and meat processing products, aquatic product processing products, edible vegetable oils, staple food convenience foods, vegetable and fruit processing products, milk and dairy products. The rapid growth of the food industry has directly driven the growth of food, cookware machinery (and packaging machinery).

3、 Meat processing machinery (meat grinder). With the development of the meat food industry, the proportion of deep processing of meat is constantly increasing, and new meat processing plants are emerging, requiring enterprises to invest a large amount of processing equipment.

4、 If the deep processing capacity of aquatic product processing equipment is increased by 10% to about 4.7 million tons, an additional equipment investment of about 20 billion yuan is required.

3. Innovation. Chinese food machinery manufacturing enterprises need to develop new products from an innovative perspective and from the perspective of independent intellectual property rights, and develop advanced equipment with international first-class level. Only in this way can we truly upgrade the domestic food machinery manufacturing industry. Breaking away from the support of foreign technology is an important milestone for China's food machinery industry to move forward.

4. Talent. There are relatively few majors in food machinery in national universities, and food machinery enterprises need to cultivate talents on their own. The joint sponsorship of food machinery majors by universities and the development of innovative talents in food machinery are the demands of the new era. Both countries and enterprises need the support of talents. With professional talents, enterprises have solid internal strength and confidence.

5. Low carbon. The globally popular concept of low-carbon environmental protection has also spread to the machinery industry. The entire food machinery industry needs to move towards energy conservation. The most obvious development is the transformation of beverage packaging bottles. The lightweighting of beverage packaging bottles and the transformation of materials are both requirements for environmental protection. The food machinery industry needs to implement corresponding national policies to improve technical products in order to meet market demands.

6. Online promotion. The traditional promotion methods can no longer keep up with the pace of the electronic information age. Online promotion has become a major focus for food machinery enterprises. Doing more professional promotion on industry websites is the best choice.
